West Suburban Senior Services has three centers that offer a variety of educational programs, seminars, classes, clubs, activities, parties, outings and special events. Our activity calendar varies by season, interest and need, and is available in the monthly newsletter and at all three sites. The Gift Shop at our Bellwood site offers a wide selection of reasonably priced items handmade by our seniors.  Proceeds directly benefit the senior crafters and the agency.  Each center also has meeting facilities that are available to senior clubs and organizations at no cost.  

Podiatry Clinic

Walk down easy street with proper foot care

West Suburban Senior Services offers a Podiatry Clinic for seniors on Thursdays at our Bellwood Senior Center and monthly at River Park.  Dr. Gary Trent specializes in foot care of the senior patient and accepts Medicare assignment. Home visits are available. Appointments are necessary for all services.  

Volunteer Program

Share your time and talents with seniors

A variety of volunteer opportunities exist at West Suburban Senior Services' three sites, from time-limited needs to ongoing assistance.  Volunteers work with all the populations our agency serves, from homebound seniors to day care clients to independent seniors.  Volunteers are an essential component of our programs and bring a richness of experience and wealth of talent to our agency.  We encourage individuals, families, and groups to consider donating their time. There is no limit to what volunteers can offer.
